The head of Telesales house & Renewals of Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, Regina Lange, was awarded the CAt Innovator Award for her project with Whisbi by the CCW Operator Management Circle. The telco Innovation Award, which recognize the most successful call center projects from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, are granted annually at the International Congress Fair CCW in Berlin.
Nine nominees from Germany and Switzerland competed for this year’s CAt Award for successful and innovative call center projects. The awards ceremony was held at the Berlin Estrel Convention Center on the evening of February 18.
The Management Circle described Whisbi as a way to “provide potential customers with a personal advisor technically accessible and free of charge through an innovative live interaction” and portrayed Lange’s work as a “visionary” and “particularly outstanding” project.
Lange highlighted that, since the introduction of the new service, the number of requests to the telesales team has raised and the dropout rate on the portal has been significantly reduced. Due to this success, the dedicated video call team has received its own working area and its number of agents has been increased.
